The Southend West Kip McGrath Education Centre has received accreditation as 
The Centre serves Castle Point and Leigh-on-Sea. Situated in its own premises in Castle Road, just off the A13 London Road, it is newly equipped and has a comfortable waiting room for parents. A particular feature of the light and airy teaching areas is the amount of space students have, to work on their learning programme and for personal tuition.
There is limited on-site parking but an abundance of on-street parking in Castle Road and the car park serving the Lidl supermarket is nearby.
The Centre has its own toilet faciliies. The Centre also has a private room should parents wish to discuss any particular concerns they might have.
Jacky Thomson is the Centre Director and lead Tutor. Jacky has a wealth of teaching experience and her most recent teaching post was as Senior Assistant Head Teacher at St Martin's School, Brentwood, Essex's top performing Comprehensive School. She also specialises in Teaching & Learning and, as a result, is skilled in formulating learning programmes tailored to students' individual learning requirements. As a teacher with many years experience, Jacky recognises the difference personal attention can make to children who, for a variety of reasons, might be struggling in school.
Should parents wish to wait in the Centre during tuition sessions, they are welcome to bring along a laptop and access the wireless broadband connection.

Southend East
Kip McGrath Southend East is a new, modern, Education Centre. It is convieniently situated for Thorpe Bay, Shoeburyness, Southchurch and Southend East. The Centre is run by Olga Preston who is a fully qualified school teacher with 15 years experience accross the Key Stages. Before opening the Southend East Kip McGrath Centre she has recently worked in schools in Southend and before that in London.
Olga believes that the progressive educational programme that has been developed by Kip McGrath enables pupils to feel more confident in their abilities thus encouraging pupils to raise their aspirations and academic performance.
Waitrose, Garon Park Golf Complex and Southend Leisure & Tennis Centre are only 3 minutes drive away from the Centre.
